Cabana for one, please?

Having a significant other who travels for a living can sometimes be the pitts. It means dinners alone, unexplained absenses and disappointed looks from people at friendly gatherings. But…it also means cherished quality time and unique experiences. And you know what? It doesn’t suck.

Since Ryan travels on a weekly basis, he has this mystical thing that those of us with non-travel jobs can only dream about. “Elite Status.” So, when weekends lead to me working and a random work schedule, we decided to take advantage of this and I came along! And let me tell you, traveling with a spouse on business is AMAZING!

You get to stand on the fancy carpet and you’re not lying.

That’s right, front of like access and a built in express pass.

Breakfast is complimentary

Hotels like to take care of their frequent visitors, so often it’s actually pretty cheap when I come along because since he’s working I get to take in the perks! Like free breakfast.

This view!

Today doesn’t suck y’all.

I get a break.

I’m not sitting at home fretting about dirty dishes, undone laundry or wedding chores. It’s a welcome, productive break.

I get to see him when he comes home.

The best part of going on these journeys? I get to welcome my man home with open arms…and I don’t even have to worry about laundry. It’s a great way for us to have uninterrupted time together!
So, ladies and gents. Get on the business trip bandwagon. Mooch the amenities. It makes your time together so special.

We are staying at the Marriott Resort: Hutchinson Island in Stuart, Florida. I was not paid by the resort but highly recommend it!
